WooCommerce Profit: Which Costs Belong in Each Calculator Field?
Translate WordPress store reality into selling price, COGS, shipping, commission, and other costs so WooCommerce profit matches your books.

Field mapping cheat sheet
Selling price should match what the customer pays after coupons. Product cost should match the COGS basis you use for pricing, whether that is pure SKU cost or landed inbound.
- Gateway fees: commission % or fixed per order
- Label and 3PL: shipping line
- Plugins amortized per order: other costs when material
Avoid double counting
If shipping plugins add surcharges at checkout, include them in selling price or shipping, not both. Pick one representation and document it.
Compare channels fairly
Use the same structure for WooCommerce, Amazon, and DTC so leadership can compare contribution without spreadsheet drift.
