Next steps

Model Stripe fees in this calculator

Use commission percentage for blended card-present and card-not-present stacks, or fixed amount when your pricing is per-auth plus percent. Stripe Radar, disputes, and FX can be folded into other costs or a slightly higher blended %.

  • Subscriptions vs one-time: average fee per successful charge lifecycle
  • International cards: bump blended % when cross-border share grows
  • Payout timing does not change margin here — stay on per-order economics

Stripe + Shopify stacks

If Shopify Payments is not available and you route through Stripe, treat processing as commission and keep Shopify subscription allocation in other costs when it is meaningful per order.

Sanity checks

If Stripe fees exceed contribution before ads at your median AOV, fix pricing or bundle structure before increasing ad spend — ROAS targets cannot fix negative unit contribution.
