Model blended processing fees
Most stores pay a mix of rates: debit vs credit, domestic vs international, wallet vs card. Compute a trailing 30–60 day effective rate from processor reports, then enter it as commission % for quick scenario work.
- BNPL and wallets: include their higher take rates in the blend
- Chargeback losses: optional other cost per order if stable enough
- Revisit the rate when cross-border share changes
When to split instead of blending
If international share exceeds ~30% of GMV, run two calculator passes (domestic blend vs international blend) and weight by mix instead of one optimistic average.
Pair with ROAS planning
After fees, enable ad cost to see net profit and compare the min revenue ROAS guardrail with your ad account ROAS. Large gaps usually mean attribution or unmodeled variable costs.
